More than 10 major improvements
A Fresh New Look
We’ve given Slate a visual refresh — cleaner layout, clearer information, and easier navigation across the board. Keeping it deliberately simple.
Updated Colours & Fonts
Our new palette and typography are designed to improve readability and make the app feel more modern and intuitive.
Captain debtors Bar
Captains can now instantly see how much is owed by their team with a new visual debtors bar — no more digging around.

Organised Events View
We’ve split your personal events from those you’ve organised, so it’s easier to keep track of where you’re playing and what you’re managing.
Clubs can now have more than one administrator. A designated Super Admin has full control — including adding players and assigning additional admins to help manage the club more efficiently.
When adjusting a member’s fee, you can now add a reason — like paying in cash, driving to an away match, or providing teas. These notes are stored and can be exported as a report to make end-of-season reconciliation easier.
You can now filter reports by time period — 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months. Plus, sort any column (like name, event, or date) in ascending or descending order. Best of all, your chosen view can be downloaded exactly as displayed.
Club administrators can now reset a member’s password directly from the Members section — saving time and helping players get back into their accounts quickly.
Admins can now reset a member’s Direct Debit mandate from the Members section — ideal for when someone changes bank accounts or needs to re-authorise payments.
Administrators now have the ability on the members section to remove a member from their club
Members can now log into their Slate account on the Slate app using Face ID for quick and secure access. We’ve also removed the need to re-enter your password for payments when you’re already logged in — making payments smoother than ever.
Players can now update their own Direct Debit information — no need to go through a club admin, making changes quicker and hassle-free.
Detailed payment report: We've added the true Charge Date which is the date that GoCardless process the payment from a member's direct debit. in addition to this we have also added the GoCardless status. Both of these should further reduce time to reconcile your payments vs. bank account statements.
adjustment audit report: following on from the introduction of the adjustment reason capturing when editing an amount, this new report, found in the admin portal, allows clubs to track all adjustments made and why. perfect for calculating how much your spending on teas or mileage etc.
player participation report: to help clubs track who has participated in which events. a simple and easy to use report to make tracking participation and engagement easier, such as training attendance.
Admins can now copy and share a direct invite link with new players — perfect for when email invites don’t land. A quick and easy way to get members signed up without delay.
